The ASAR recognises registration with the Australian Orthoptic Board as appropriate accreditation for Orthoptists to undertake sonography in relation to ocular structures.
As per the agreement between ASAR and AOB, ASAR accepts AOB registered members as appropriate for ASAR accreditation. Orthoptists can visit www.australianorthopticboard.au for more information about this.
AOB members wishing to be included on the ASAR Register to perform B scan ultrasonography should complete and return our online joining form here.
Renewal fees of $20 are paid biennially. Fee Default will be charged at double the standard fee.
