Annual Self Study Reports are due each year on the anniversary date of a course's accreditation. It is the responsibility of the course provider to prepare these and submit to the ASAR office by the anniversary date. A proforma is available to download and complete here.
Significant Changes to the Course Structure
A course provider must inform ASAR in the annual Self Study Report of any significant changes made to the course structure, content, or delivery during the period of accreditation. A review of course material resulting from these changes may be requested. ASAR appreciates that course changes may need to occur during the accreditation period. When determining what represents a “significant change”, course providers should reflect on how the change relates to elements detailed in the Standards for the Accreditation of Sonographer Courses (SASC), The Professional Competency Framework for Sonographers and recommendations specific to that course’s accreditation.
